If you are reading this, you have come half way to becoming a member of the TruckTalk Australia Online community. At this point, you are probably asking yourself "... well, why do I have to register to join TruckTalk Australia when I can already read the news on the homepage?
You don't have to register at all. The home page will always contain a selection of information for guests to TruckTalk Australia, and those who don't wish to get themselves a login to the full site.
We have the login feature for various reasons. A login allows free member access to the full site for those of us in Australia and around the world to share our knowledge and resources.
Getting a login allows TruckTalk Community members to access many of the areas not available to casual guests, for example: Discussion Groups - our discussion groups are for members around the world to share conversation, comments and views on many different subjects from Braking Systems to Blogs, Insurance to iPods, Fuel Economy to Transmissions.Guests cannot publish articles or submit comments to existing TruckTalk content. Guests only have access to a limited number of groups. Latest News - Our newsroom is rather unique. TruckTalk members can research and design their own news articles, and publish them directly onto the website. ( This is really cool by the way! ). Guests to TruckTalk Australia cannot publish their own news articles to the website, but still have access to some news articles. ....to name just a few!
We also need to keep an eye on individual article and page statistics so we know what is popular - this way we can tailor the content to better suit our users needs.
We have built this site with the sole purpose in mind of providing a platform for sharing. Please read the policies below, (which we have to include as part of the registration process) before continuing forward.
