The ACTU is worried that bosses are lobbying for a roll-back of Labor's new industrial relations system.
ACTU secretary Jeff Lawrence says union offices around the country are taking calls from people who had expected WorkChoices to be abolished with the advent of a federal Labor Government.
He says while new AWAs cannot be signed, the raft of provisions in WorkChoices remains in place.
Mr Lawrence says the Government needs to implement its new workplace laws sooner than 2010.
"There's a significant offensive by employers in respect to some of these issues, now I'm confident that the Labor Party will stick to its promises but there's an offensive by employers to try and roll that back."
